Where can I get groceries?
From the cabin , Natural Grocer is only 4.1 miles away (just in town), and then a little further towards uptown are the Walmart Super Center and City Market (7.2 and 7.8 miles from the cabin respectively).
Our mountain cabin is very close to town (3.8 miles) on a maintained/plowed county road. While 4WD is required in the winter, it was important to us to have easy accessibility to shopping, groceries, dining, and activities in town.
Can I get food delivery?
Food delivery is generally unavailable in this area, but anywhere from 4-7 miles from the cabin are great restaurants with curbside, patio, and (depending on the pandemic status) dine-in availability.
What is the best time of year to visit Pagosa Springs?
Many people enjoy the cool mountain air in the summertime, and that's a great time to visit for hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, and enjoying the springs. Pagosa also draws quite a crowd during the fall when the autumn colors change the foliage of local trees into deep burning shades of reds, oranges, and golden yellow. Spring break is always popular for final skiing of the year, and we love the quiet winter in Pagosa as well. There really isn't a bad time to visit!
